EZLN Inspired Graphic

I don’t know why EZLN (Ejército Zapatista de Liberación or Zapatista Army of National Liberation) has been on my mind for the past few weeks. I feel inspired. Maybe because it was so unexpected way back then? That back in January 1st 1994 a group of armed men and women would descend from the hills of Chiapas Mexico and demand justice and fair for the indigenous people of the region. For me, it was an event that completely shook up the stereotype of Mexico. Of being country that offered cheap drinks, great food and nice weather and as an added bonus all the poor and improvised people kept out of sight and mind so not to disturb the incoming tourism cash flow. For sure it made things clear that there was trouble in paradise.  Not sure if EZLN today plays any part in the region. But it makes me feel good that a movement such as this can still inspire and provoke action where needed. If you read this please let me know if you find and news worthy updates on EZLN. Ill repost if I find the same. ¡Adelante Amigos!
